There are many ways to contribute to Western Australia's Hungarian community
The Magyars of WA is a developing community resource intended to help connect people, preserve community knowledge and history, encourage participation, and better understand the interests of Western Australia's wider Hungarian diaspora.
You do not need to become a member of an organisation or provide financial support to participate.
Choose the way that suits you.
🤝 Participate
Take part in community research, future surveys and discussions, receive project updates, and help us understand what Western Australia's Hungarian community wants and needs.
📚 Contribute
Share historical documents, photographs, family or migration stories, community knowledge, professional expertise, ideas or volunteer skills.
Even a small contribution may help preserve something that would otherwise be lost.
❤️ Support the Portal
The Magyars of WA is intended to remain a freely accessible community resource.
Financial support is entirely optional. A voluntary support mechanism is being developed to help meet disclosed operating costs, but financial contributions are not currently being requested through the portal.

See how the community resource is being developed, what it costs to operate, how future voluntary support will be accounted for, and how community participation can be reported.
Participate in your own way
Community contribution does not have to mean money.
It can mean answering a survey, sharing a photograph, contributing a story, identifying an historical record, offering professional knowledge, volunteering some time, introducing another person to the project, or simply participating in the conversation.
